Hey, my name is Lexus. I have sole custody of my 6 kids, aging from 1 and a half to twelve years old. This year has been really hard on me. I had surgery on my hand, then started having kidney problems. I haven’t been getting child support in the past few months due

to their dad being laid off. With all these hardships, I have fallen behind on some bills and am worried about getting evicted. I have a second interview next week but that doesn’t help immediate needs like past due bills. Last year, I was able to run a fundraiser and provide Christmas for 61 kids. This year, I’m struggling to pay bills, let alone do Christmas. I’ve tried to get on Christmas programs in mid-November with no luck. It’s really hard to swallow your pride and make these fundraisers for yourself, but I don’t know where to turn. Just praying for a miracle. I added a copy of the pay or leave notice.
