We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for support for our beloved Uncle Elmo, who recently suffered a traumatic hand injury that nearly resulted in amputation. As a result, he’s unable to work and is facing a long, uncertain road to recovery that includes rehabilitation, possible future surgeries, and mounting medical expenses.

My Uncle Elmo is the sole provider for his household and has been the steady support for his wife, who is currently battling illness herself. With the both of them unable to work or care for each other fully, without the assistance of his sister’n law, Monie, this injury has created an overwhelming financial and emotional burden.

Elmo has always been a hardworking, generous soul who never hesitated to lend a hand when someone needed it. Now it’s our turn to lend ours.
