Hi, my name is Jennifer James, and I’m reaching out for support during an incredible difficult time in our lives. My 10-year-old nephew Case, is currently being treated at UC Davis Medical Center for a series of debilitating headaches that have turned our families world upside down.

Doctors have been working tirelessly to uncover the cause. They’ve narrowed it down to **excessive pressure behind his left eye**, but we’re still waiting for a clear diagnosis and a treatment plan. It’s a painful and confusing journey, and we’re doing everything we can to stay strong for Case while navigating hospital visits, tests, and mounting medical expenses.

The funds raised will help us with:

- Hospital bills and testing not covered by insurance

- Travel and lodging expenses to stay near Case

- Time missed from work so his mama, Sam, can be by his side

- Any ongoing treatment and recovery costs once we’re through this storm
