Over the last five-plus years, our family has endured a series of deep and heartbreaking losses. It began with the passing of our brother Josh. The very next year, our beloved aunt—whom we all considered a second mother—passed away. Then, the following year, our mother, who had been lovingly cared for by Brian since our father’s death, unexpectedly suffered a massive brain aneurysm in her downstairs bedroom. Brian was the one who found her. She passed instantly.
The trauma sent Brian into a profound depression—so severe that he couldn’t get out of bed for months. This led to the loss of his income, and eventually, the strain ended his 15-year relationship, adding yet another devastating loss.
Through the support of many wonderful people and dedicated therapy, Brian has made progress. He is no longer confined to his bed, and he is once again able to work.
But the journey ahead is still like climbing a mountain, and he needs your support to reach the top.
