Medical Bills for Cancer Treatments

Dear Friends, Family and Kind-Hearted Community,

We are writing this with great humility, seeking your support during this challenging time.

Our brother Ramil, who is the most selfless person we know, has been recenty diagnosed with colo-rectal cancer.

It all started early last year, when he was feeling pain in his left abdomen. He thought it was just gas and IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Like many of us, we tend to just endure and ignore small pains, and think nothing of it.

The day finally came when he could no longer ignore the pain and not able to normally go to the washroom. He went to see a specialist, which ordered a proctoscopy (not colonoscopy), on December 13, 2024. The result that he was dreading to hear came true. Mixed emotions of depression,

fear, anxiety, stress, but most of all worry - not for himself, but for his loved ones. He does not want to be a burden to

anyone emotionally and especially, financially. Despite all the struggles and challenges he's going through right now, he tries to put out a brave and cheerful face. He continues to be a selfless person by taking care of our mom, who's undergoing dialysis treatment for total kidney failure.

He will undergo numerous treatments in the near future. First, a serious surgery to re-direct the large intestine through

the abdominal wall (Colostomy). Additionally, Ramil will face multiple chemotherapy sessions including radiation treatment.

With your support and prayers, we would like for him to focus on treatment and healing, and not worry about the financial stress during this time. We need him to feel that he's worth

the fight.
