I've been without a car since mine was stolen in DC about 2 years ago. I've finally found a reliable replacement, at least, one I can afford outright. This car is going to change my life. It will allow me to move out of the suburbs and into a place I can afford, it will allow me to branch out and find a more lucrative contract, and it will allow me to finally get on the road and visit all of you.

I've been struggling to save up enough to buy it outright from a private seller. But, it's extremely slow-going, as it's very difficult for me to save money while staying housed and still being able to eat haha. I provided a down-payment so the seller would take the car off the market, but I worry he's losing patience.

So, I started this to ask friends and family to lend a hand, if you're in a position to. Any amount helps. A few bucks here means I wont have to worry about stuff like buying groceries.

The car is mine for $2,500. I've managed to save $1,000, so I need $1,500 more to reach my goal.
