Dearest Friends and Family,

I need your help. I’ve been hanging on by a thread these last few months. Due to an unexpected illness that took me out for weeks, which subsequently caused me to lose the job that I had, followed by a series of unforeseen hardships… I lost my home and took a hit to my pride, and my pockets.

Right when I was ready to pull the pieces back together, I sustained a back injury that made it impossible for me to work, let alone move without pain, for almost two months. I did my best to get by, selling things, picking up odd end jobs where I could. But I slipped into a deep depression that almost took me out.

There’s so much more to this story and what has brought me to this point, including so many levels of heartbreak, but I am sharing what I can.

In my hyper independence and fear to seek help or burden anyone with my troubles, I self isolated. And now, after hit after hit, alone, I have found myself at a financial rock bottom. An emotional one.

After some recent unexpected kindness and serendipitous light when I needed it the most, I am reminded of who I am, and I am determined to not accept defeat, and to pull myself out of this hole that has threatened to swallow me. But I realize… I’m gonna need some assistance to do so.

These funds will enable me to shift my energy back towards my well being. To create the mind space and mental health that I need to further cultivate my goals. To get back to building the life I’ve dreamed of. To move onto my bus in a livable capacity and carry out the businesses that I’ve worked so hard to cultivate, that I have spent years to be educated and certified in. All of my goals are motivated towards helping others, bringing light and magic and creation… love and support, to those around me. This is my purpose.

I just need a leg up. A boost. A little break, a “win,” to get me back on my feet.

Community is everything, and I know I have an amazing one.

This could happen to any one of us. To many of us, it has. And I am learning how necessary the village is, because we can’t carry it all alone. I tried.

And it doesn’t work.
