Lencho has been dealt some pretty shitty cards in life. He was found wandering the streets with his female buddy and brought in to PACC last month. His owners were found but didn't want him back because they didn't want to pay the fee for an unaltered dog and were not interested in having him back as a neutered dog. The shelter can be a scary place for many dogs, as it was for Lencho. Now he had to live behind bars because the only home he had known for 9 long years no longer wanted him back.
Without getting into too much detail, a very unfortunate incident happened which resulted in a human bite. Lencho became the victim of a human error and was now in jeopardy of being euthanized.
Thanks to PACC leadership, we were offered a solution for Lencho - his only chance.
We have the opportunity of sending Lencho to a 5 month training at a sanctuary in California called Save Them Dogs. Save Them Dog Training, LLC is helping the misunderstood pups. Using science-based techniques from experts like Dr. Ian Dunbar and Dr. Sophia Yin, and utilizing force-free Behavior Adjustment Training (BAT) designed by Grisha Stewart, they can SAVE THEM! To find out more about them, please go to their website www.savethemdogs.com.
The training is not cheap, however, Lencho will get the best possible chance to live out the rest of his life either in a loving home or if that cannot be found, right there at the sanctuary. This is Lencho's only chance! If you are able to donate to his cause, we will be forever grateful for your help.
Thanks,
Claudia & Christy
