A Tribute to Lenard Matias

Welcome to our fundraiser.

We are friends of Lenard Eusebio Respicio Matias and like you, we are still trying to process our tremendous loss. His passion, creativity and love touched so many of us so deeply.

Lenard loved so much in life, like surrounding himself with art, traveling to amazing places, spending time with his beloved family and friends. One of Lenard's absolute favorite ways to spend an afternoon was picnicking with family and friends in Central Park. If you were fortunate enough to have experienced a picnic with Lenard, you are truly blessed! Like everything Lenard did, he relished every detail.

As a tribute to him, we are raising funds to dedicate his own special space in Central Park. We will either endow a bench or a tree so that he will forever be connected to his beloved city and there will always be a place to visit with him.

Our loss will never be filled, but we feel this is one way to keep his spirit with us.
