It is with profound pain and overwhelming  sadness that we share that our beloved friend, husband to Brenda, and father has gone
from labor to reward. Lenard East fought incredibly hard, and we
all marveled at his strength. 

Lenard emerged early as a leader.  From Gault Jr High to Lincoln
and farther, he stood as a giant. He was Captain of the varsity
basketball team and served as ASB President  He was kind, giving, and considerate, always a smile, with words of encouragement.  
A man of great faith.  He will be deeply missed.

Please join with us, his fellow Lincoln HS alumni, to establish the
Lenard East memorial fund. Our way of showing support from
afar. While its existence will never take his place, it may serve to
support the people and initiatives closest to his heart.
