Lemon's Last Chance

When Lemon arrived at TAG he was covered in bites and close to death. Having been forced to live in an extremely small space with lots of other rabbits, he had been so badly attacked that he couldn't open his eyes due to large abscesses that had formed over them.

His face has now healed but the bite wounds on the rest of his body have become persistent abscesses that haven't responded to treatment, so more aggressive action is urgently needed if we have any chance of saving him.

Lemon's last option is to have the abscesses on his back end marsupialised (opened up and stitched open to allow thorough cleaning). The second huge abscess on his leg will also need to be marsupialised or amputated if it cannot be saved. If this treatment fails, the only other alternative would be to say goodbye, and we of course want to avoid this at all possible costs. Lemon deserves the chance to experience a happy life.

The procedure is set to cost us £800 and so we are urgently asking for any donations (no matter how small) to help our little Lemon. Despite all he has been through, Lemon is an incredibly gentle, loving and good natured rabbit and we want nothing more than to help him get his zest for life back.
