Lemon Fundraiser

A “third place” is a term that refers to places where people spend time between home ('first' place) and work ('second' place). These are locations where we exchange ideas, have a good time, and build relationships.

Lemon is aspiring to be a creative sanctuary for music and art of all kinds. Conceived in a basement and showcased in an alleyway in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago, Lemon will be a place where people come together to enjoy performances and meticulously executed cocktails. Modeled after a jazz club with the soul of a come-as-you-are neighborhood haunt, and guided by our staunch DIY mentality, we maintain that everyone is welcome to create, contribute and share in our dream.

Back in Februrary we held a successful fundraising benefit at PALMHOUSE in Evanston, however not all of you were able to attend or participate.

Since that time we have signed a lease on our space for Lemon at 1600 W Grand in our home of West Town, Chicago!

In the spirit of giving everyone a chance to contribute to the opening of our space, we're opening this GoFundMe. With a beautiful long bar, intimate stage and a wall of windows, Lemon is going to add to the growing community of hospitality in West Town. And as a small bonus, the Sears Tower is visible from the stage.

We are raising additional funds to improve our space. Money raised here will go to things like:
