SHATTERED HEARTS

On July 24, 2022, the last straw holding a family together was broken in the worst way possible. Kendal (18) and Hunter (16) Lemoine, along with older siblings, live in Morganza, La. On August 3, 2021, they suddenly lost their father, Richard, at age 53 to Covid. Less than a year later, after suffering immensely from losing her husband, their mother Dee gave up her fight. Kendal has been working and trying to finish school online since his father passed so he could help his mother with the cost of living. Now that she is gone, he and his older sister will have to figure out how to cover their mother's burial expenses and manage the household independently while caring for Hunter. Hunter, at just 16 years old, will have to grow up all too quickly. We can all relate to the rising cost of everything from fuel to electricity not to mention groceries along with insurances and medical expenses. With the new school year approaching, school supplies and uniforms also need to be purchased. Andreanna, the boy's older sister, will set the wheels in motion to obtain custody, but she will need help. The boys are staying with her for the time being because going home is too painful right now.

Please consider donating to this fund to help ease the financial burden that these young men are facing. They are the kindest and most polite young men I have ever met. The fund will be managed by the family and used to cover the funeral expenses, household expenses, educational needs, and general care of the boys.
