IN HONOUR OF OUR SWEET LEMMY

People often asked Ange what breed Lems was, and her answer was always the same:

“98% angel.”

If you ever had the privilege of knowing Lems, you know exactly what she meant.

Lems was a once-in-a-lifetime dog. He had a way of making everyone feel like they were his favourite person. For ten years, he gave his family and everyone around him unconditional love.

Last Friday, Lems suddenly became very sick and needed emergency veterinary care. After multiple hospital visits, specialists, testing and monitoring, the devastating news came that he needed emergency gallbladder surgery.

The surgery was successful, however, sadly - Lems developed a serious infection following surgery. Despite the incredible efforts of the veterinary teams and everything Ryan and Ange did to save him, Lems passed away on Tuesday.

We started this GoFundMe to help save Lems. Although we can no longer bring him home, the high veterinary expenses remain.

Ryan and Ange never hesitated to do whatever was necessary to give Lems a chance. They said yes to the tests, specialists, emergency treatment and surgery because they would have done anything for their boy.

Now, while they are grieving the loss of a beloved member of their family, they are also facing an overwhelming veterinary bill.

We are asking for help once again to help ease the financial burden left behind.
