Lemiyah with critical medical expenses

La’Miyah is a 12 year old little girl in desperate need of an immediate lung transplant. In 2016, at the age of 5, La’Miyah suddenly got very sick and was diagnosed with aplastic anemia- a condition that caused her body to stop making new blood cells and left her with only 3% blood volume. She had a blood marrow transplant to help her body make the new blood cells that it needed and soon after started chemotherapy. The chemotherapy badly damaged BOTH of La’Miyah’s lungs and she is battling cystic fibrosis now. Her lungs are crystallizing and are only working at 30% which means that everyday tasks are no longer possible for her to do without extensive assistance including but not limited to: being homebound for the last 2 years, 12 hour home nursing care, feeding tube, oxygen tanks and countless doctors appointments and therapies. Her condition has reached a critical point and without a lung transplant it will quickly become fatal.

Please help us raise money to get La’miyah a new lung and to cover travel expenses, medications and other expenses necessary to make her life saving surgery possible.

At the end of the day she's 12. She wants to be able to be a cheerleader or a dancer, she wants to go back to school with her friends and she wants to be a kid-- the first step is getting her healthy. Any and all help whether it be monetary, prayers or just a share to get her story heard is appreciated more than you will ever know. Thank you.
