Since we adopted our son in 2018, we have wanted to continue growing our family through adoption - and although we can afford to raise another child, adoption can still be a heavy financial burden. That's why this time around, we're looking to offset the costs associated with adopting baby number two by fundraising.
The average cost of adoption in 2022, according to the Child Welfare Information Gateway, is between $20,000 and $45,000. We expect our expenses to be upwards of $35,000.
Since February of 2023, we've been listed with Adoption Choice, Inc. here in Wisconsin and Beacon House Adoption Services based in Louisiana with offices in Mississippi and Florida. We are also considering applying with Adoption Choices of Texas in the hopes of expanding our reach.
Your donation will go directly towards helping us with our adoption expenses. Below is an example of just some of the expenses we will be responsible for. We truly appreciate any support you can provide and completely understand if you're not currently in a position to help financially.
