Study Abroad in Le Mans

Greetings,
I am Jordania Rowden and I attend The University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas as a senior pursuing a degree in French.  I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, as a General Member. I have worked 3 jobs my entire college career while maintaining a GPA above 3.5.  I am applying for an opportunity to expand my education by studying French Literature at l'Université du Maine in Le Mans, France this coming spring.  For a very long time I have been facinate with French customs, music, and literature and to be able to see and learn it first-hand will be very intriguing.  From this opportunity I hope to learn about French history and culture while also gaining a better understanding of their social, economic, and political system of the the country.  It has not been an easy challenge, but I am determined to finish my  degree on time and with good academic standing. 

However, the cost to get there is tremendous.  Thus, I am asking for guidance from fellow family, friends, and my community in order to make this dream come true. The funds from this account will go towards obtaining my visa, books, health insurance,  and round-trip flight.  Fund are due by December 1, 2016.

Je m’appelle Jordania Rowden et je suis une étudiante à l’Uniersité du Kansas à Lawrence, Kansas. Je suis dans ma dernière année d’études poursuivant un diplôme en français. Je suis membre d’Alpha Kappa Alpha Sororité, INC. J’ai travaillé trois emplois pendant mes années d’études tout en conservant une moyenne cummulative au-dessus de 3,5. J’ai l’occasion de poursuivre mes études par étudiant la littérature française à l’Université du Maine au Mans, France pendant la semestre au printemps.

Cependant, le coût pour y arriver est énorme. Ainsi, je demande des conseils de mes collègues, ma famille, mes amis, et ma communauté afin d'aider faire de ce rêve devenu réalité. L'argent de ce compte seront versés à l'obtenir de mon visa, mes livres, mon assurance santé, et mon vol aller-retour. L’argent doit être payé le 1er décembre 2016.
