In 2012, Leland was given 6 weeks to live and with God's providence and a fighting spirit, he lived a full life for 8 years.  He was a loving father of 2 boys, devoted husband, beloved son, caring brother, inspired leader and mentor pouring into those around him and touching all who came near, a wonderful friend.  He left this life Memorial Day 2020.  He was a gifted writer and used his gift to be comforter to those around him who were also going through a similar struggle with cancer.  He was open and honest about his struggles and fight and shared via various blogs, most recently his 98 brain tumors site.  He titled this after having a gamma knife treatment that removed 98 tumors from his brain.  Search Google for Leland Fay or 98 tumors and you can see numerous news stories about this treatment.  This GoFundMe is for his family to help resolve memorial costs and other treatment costs remaining after this ordeal.  Thanks to all who can support this beautiful family and celebrate the wonderful legacy Leland has left behind.
