Update from Leisha: “They sent my scans to the chest specialists and even though my oncologist told me she wasn’t concerned apparently the chest specialist are. They are wanting me to undergo another surgery. Likely within the month to remove the spot on my lung. On top of that Brent was let go at work for missing days for being with me in the hospital/right out of the hospital”

Hi, my name is Amanda and I am a childhood friend of Leisha. Leisha is a 38 year old loving mother and wife with a diagnosis NO ONE would have expected. After undergoing a very serious surgery to remove part of her colon, she has been left diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. Leisha has made the decision to undergo any treatment needed to fight for herself and her family. This fight is going to take a toll on her body, her family, and their finances.
