Leisa Needs Our Help!

As many of you know on August 14, 2020 Leisa suddenly lost the Love of her life, her husband Gary Grace, due to complications of end stage disease. They celebrated their 5th anniversary on April 11, 2020.
Gary’s passing was unexpected and devastating. It was a love story that ended way too soon! After a few months, our lives have gone on while Leisa’s has still been overwhelmed not only by loss but financial burden for mounting medical bills still coming in for Gary as well as medical care for her own sudden health struggles!
The pandemic has brought with it not only the loss of her partner but the inability to provide extra income doing what she loves -- singing! It is very overwhelming to try to heal while experiencing all of these financial, emotional and social challenges.
I only know of her struggle because I sent her a small gift of an Amazon card recently hoping she would use it on herself to maybe try Stila’s new lipstick :-) But no! I received a very grateful note that said thank you and that she’d used the card for groceries!
Those who know Leisa know that she gives so much to others and is very Selfless in her giving. I KNEW that if YOU KNOW her and KNEW her situation you would want to help Leisa too!
The Nitty-Gritty:
I think it would be amazing to give our sister some reprieve from worrying about RENT for at least One year. It’s $1’600 so that’s $19’200 plus some cash for groceries and such so total goal of $20,000. That way she could scratch “finding a new place to live” off her to-do list and focus on healing and picking up the pieces of her life.
Let’s do this together okay!? Let’s pray for Leisa first. And then Let’s give whatever we can and as generously as we can. It’s just a very practical way to let her know how much we love her and I know You won’t regret it!
