Leila's Wishes

Aloha,

My name is Bristy, my siblings and I have started this fundraiser for our mother, Leila.

In 2018, she was diagnosed with lung cancer and was given 4 months to live. 4 years later, she has broken these odds but still continues to battle cancer and other diseases head on.

Within the past year, her condition has tremendously worsened. She has been in and out of the hospital, approaching new problems each time. Medications have become uncertain to prescribe due to cross medications and the toll it takes on her fragile body.

Now, the cancer medicine has stopped working and the cancer has begun to spread. With a already susceptible immune system, doctors have given her two options. Chemo or to live her life to the fullest and let the cancer take its course. Doctors fear that chemo is not the best option for her due to her already fragile immune system.

Our mother's faith is strong and her spirit is not ready to give up. She wants to fight and try chemo. Our father, who is mom's primary care giver, is unable to assist with financial burdens, so we ask for your help.

Please, help us, help our mom to live the rest of her life comfortably and to the best it can be, with family and no financial burdens.
