Hi, my name is Anna Davis and if you know me or even know of me, you know that I have a shepherd mix named Leila who is my entire world. Not only is she an incredible dog and friend, she is my ADA trained psychiatric service animal. Unfortunately Leila has recently suffered from acute hemorrhagic diarrhea syndrome (AHDS). She had to be rushed to the emergency vet for treatment as the condition does not resolve itself and she was rapidly worsening as she bled from both ends of her body. Luckily we got her the treatment she needed and she will hopefully make a full recovery. I’m a full time student and the cost of her treatment was more than I could afford. If you’re able to help cover Leila’s vet bills I would be so appreciative.
