Leilani's Summer Medical Program Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Brittany Flores. My daughter Leilani (Ally) is trying to raise money to attend a summer medical program that she was invited to, at a fantastic University! This is very exciting as she has dreamed of being a doctor since she was about 4 years old when I had her first little brother and she met our doctor! (Picture is from 7 years old while waiting for little brother number 2, still dreaming of medicine!) Our doctor was so amazing and inspiring! She was instantly set on being a doctor and that hasn't ever changed in all these years!

In this summer program, she will get to experience several real-life medical school situations, and be able to participate in several activities. She will also have the opportunity to speak with other medical students, ask them questions, and see how their experiences in actual medical school are going. She'll be staying in a dorm on campus with other high school students that are also attending her program. She has worked so very hard the past few years to earn the grades that got her invited to this program. She has a 3.8 GPA that is with AP classes as well as being super active in her AFJRROTC (Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps) class. She has attended several volunteer events and even coordinated some herself. She also coordinated an outreach assembly at her little brother's elementary school recognizing and appreciating their military family members for Veteran's Day. She goes to school early every day and practices very hard to perform with her color guard team at their competitions, bringing home the 1st place award for the first time ever for her unit and her school. We are very proud of her and hope she's able to experience all that life has to offer her! She sure has worked hard to earn it!
