Leilanie Allwine and family

Hi, my name is Jennifer Allwine, and I am fundraising for my 9yr old niece Leilanie Allwine. Two days after Christmas 2022, Leilanie woke up with a swollen neck and was having trouble breathing. Long story short, she spent the next 12 days at Children’s Hospital receiving various treatments for cancer. She was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma which has a very high cure rate, but it will be a long, process over the next 2.5 yrs. She is currently receiving chemo treatments and testing weekly as an outpatient at Children’s Hospital. Leilanie has been a trooper so far during her treatments. When she started to lose her long beautiful hair, she had her dad shave it all off commenting that she looked better bald than he did.

Thankfully, the majority of, her treatments and care will be covered by insurance and hospital donations. Unfortunately, though other expenses for her care will not be. Her mother Lesli has taken a leave of absence from work without pay to help care for Leilanie, and to be there for her daily treatments while her father Jesse takes care of her two brothers.
