Leila Wendler & Chuck Dunnigan Fire Relief Fund

Donation protected
On Thursday, February 18th, 2021, Leila Wendler and her husband, Chuck Dunnigan's home caught on fire.  Fortunately, Leila, Chuck, and their two small children (a 4-year-old and 4 months old) were able to escape.  Their home was destroyed and sadly they are now displaced indefinitely.

Many in the Westford community know Leila Wendler for her amazing work with students, families, and staff at the Abbot School, serving as their School Adjustment Counselor for the past 6 years.  Her husband, Chuck Dunnigan, has also dedicated his life to helping others and serves as a fireman for the Acton Fire Department.

From listening to others who have experienced house fires, it is most helpful for the Wendler/Dunnigan's to be able to purchase exactly what they need moving forward.  Many have already reached out and donated clothing and other items to get them through these first few days.   They are extremely grateful for all of the support from so many!

If you are able, please contribute what you can to help them as they begin to recover from this terrible tragedy.  Any amount is helpful and shows that they are not alone during this time.

Thank you for your love for Leila, Chuck, and their beautiful children!
They deserve it all and would be ready to jump in and help anybody else in a similar situation.

Thank you for all of your love and support!
