Support for Jessica Paige as She Honours Leila’s Memory

On November 23, 2025, Jessica Paige experienced every parent’s greatest heartbreak — the passing of her beloved daughter, Leila, at just 14 years old.

Leila was born with cerebral palsy caused by a traumatic brain injury from a blood clot in the umbilical cord while still in the womb. Despite these early challenges, she filled her family’s life with love, resilience, and quiet strength. Jessica devoted herself entirely to Leila’s care — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for 14 years. Their bond was profound, and Leila’s needs shaped every part of Jessica’s world.

With Leila’s passing, Jessica now faces both overwhelming grief and sudden financial hardship. The government supports that existed solely to help care for Leila were immediately revoked, leaving Jess without crucial assistance at the very moment she is also responsible for funeral costs and basic living expenses.

She must now navigate a life that feels completely unrecognizable, rebuilding her identity after so many years of dedicated caregiving — while still being a loving, present mom to her son Lawson, who is also grieving the loss of his sister.

We are asking for support to help Jessica through this heartbreaking and fragile time. Donations will go directly to:

Immediate living costs, including rent, bills, and daily necessities

Financial stability during grief, as Jess adjusts to the sudden end of caregiving supports

Time and space to heal, rebuild, and support Lawson
