It will be two weeks Tuesday since surgery! Thanks to our great God, so many answered prayers! And to her amazing medical team, "that she adores and can't wait to see next week" she's doing amazing!!! Thank you all so much for your prayers, words of support, and generous donations! She's got an amazing village around her and her family! They are so grateful for each and every one of you! May God bless you all!

A lot of you know this sweet little family and the special place Leighton holds in the hearts of many. Leighton was born with a congenital heart defect and had her first open-heart surgery at only 4 days old. The time has unfortunately come for her next open-heart surgery. She will go in the morning of July 15th at 6am at Doernbechers Childrens Hospital. They are expected to spend about 2 weeks in the hospital with her. With this happening, we ask first and foremost for prayers for the surgery, steady hands for the surgeons, and a smooth, easy recovery for Leighton.

As many of you can imagine, the out-of-pocket expenses of a surgery like this alone are overwhelming. Then to add on lost wages, gas, food, and just simple necessities, it's going to be a lot on this family.
