Our dear friend Leigh Seeley has recently been faced with an unexpected and overwhelming challenge. Out of the blue, she was informed she must move out of her apartment. With the rising costs of living, bills, and the unfortunately low pay in the veterinary field, Leigh has no choice but to make a major move back home to Colorado.
To do this, Leigh needs support in covering several critical expenses:
• Paying off her current veterinary bill so her pets can continue receiving care
• Covering a security deposit, utilities, and initial costs for a new apartment
• Preparing her vehicle to safely make the drive from New York to Colorado
• Travel expenses to get herself and her animals home
Leigh has been through so much within the last year, including having to escape an abusive, narcissistic relationship. Despite everything, she continues to show resilience, compassion, and strength. Now more than ever, she needs us to rally around her and help her find stability again.
Leigh is a dedicated veterinary technician who pours her heart into caring for animals. She is actively working on transferring back to her old clinic in Colorado—the very place where she discovered her passion for veterinary medicine.
Beyond her own struggles, Leigh is also the loving caretaker of her animal family: a sweet 3-legged pit bull and three cats, including Jack, who has epilepsy. Ensuring their stability, health, and safety makes it all the more important that Leigh gets this fresh start.
This is an incredibly stressful and uncertain time, but together we can help lift some of the weight off her shoulders. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly toward helping Leigh and her pets find stability and make it safely home.
Thank you for supporting someone who has always given her best to others—both people and animals alike.
