The Wise family is facing an incredibly challenging season, and we’re reaching out in the hope of easing some of the financial burden they are currently carrying.

Leigh is the kind of person who shows up for everyone. He is a friend to all — always ready to listen, offer support, or lend a hand to those he cares about, often without hesitation and without expecting anything in return.

In April 2023, Leigh suffered a serious injury at work that required shoulder surgery. Unfortunately, this injury has led to ongoing and complex complications, including excruciating nerve pain, back pain, and a significant loss of feeling and function in his dominant arm. These physical challenges have had a profound impact on his ability to work and live day to day.

Recently, WorkCover payments have ceased, leaving the family under immense financial strain. Naomi has taken on the full weight of all financial responsibilities while also caring for their two young children, who have struggled to adjust to the many changes their family has experienced during this time.

This is not easy for the Wise family, and asking for help does not come naturally. Any donation, no matter how small, would help ease the pressure they are facing — assisting with everyday expenses, medical costs, and providing some breathing space as they navigate this incredibly difficult period.
