Hi, my name is Sheila and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Leigh Tebbe — someone I’ve had the privilege of knowing and loving for 33 years.

Leigh and I started together as part of the original LongHorn team in Orange Park. While I eventually moved on, Leigh stayed — pouring her heart into LongHorn for over three decades. Through her bartending and genuine spirit, she built more than just a career — she built a community of coworkers, regulars, and lifelong friends.

If you’ve ever been lucky enough to sit at Leigh’s bar, you know the light she brings. She remembers your drink, your story, and your name. She makes you feel welcome, valued, and seen. And let’s be real — you never know what color or cut her hair will be, but it’s always something fun, sassy, and totally Leigh.

Now, Leigh needs us.

Just a few days ago, she was let go after unknowingly serving someone underage during a busy shift. She took full accountability — no excuses. But after 33 years of loyalty and love for her job, the sudden loss has been devastating.

To make things even harder, Leigh is down to her last dime. She recently spent thousands of dollars on overdue dental work, and she only has a few weeks of income left. Her car is undrivable, and she’s about to lose her health insurance.

I’ve offered to help with her resume and connect her with new job opportunities. We’re sending a mechanic to check her car. But what she really needs now is a financial cushion — something to cover 2–3 months of basic living expenses and medical costs while she gets back on her feet.
