Leigh Ann's Family Needs Support After Tragic Loss

My name is Leigh Ann Taylor. I'm doing this Gofund me due to my Daddy suddenly dying.
This is to help with services ,future bills and to help my mom due to his sudden death.
- On the morning of June 7, 2025 we left on a fishing trip like we did any other time. We drove to Staunton River state park in Halifax, Virginia.
- He was determined to go fishing Saturday morning. So James,Daddy, Jay and me got up and went. We got there at 5am.
- We set up like always on the river. He was Drinking coffee and James did his native war cry and he spit coffee it out everywhere which was funny.
- I caught the first fish and daddy made fun of me because I couldn't pick the fish up. I ended up getting bit which made him laugh harder.
- We were sitting around laughing, fishing and joking with each other.
- Daddy decided he wanted to move his live bait so he went up the hill and over the bank. He came down the bank and he went to sit down. All of a sudden everything changed. My world shattered and Life saving measures were began by James and me until rescue arrived. About 7:22 am he was pronounced deceased.

- Even though this is the most tragic loss we have dealt with He passed away doing what he loved the most, Fishing with his family. He actually had his last fish on his line as he was leaving this world. We Love you daddy and we will see you on the riverbank one day.
