Leigh Ann Adams has been the head cook at the Little Snake River Valley school for the past 16 years. She has always held an open door policy at her home as well as in the school kitchen for all "her kids" as she refers to every child in the school as hers. She's often been heard agreeing to extra duties saying"if it's for the kids."

In 2020 Leigh Ann suffered a pulmonary embolism and was placed on oxygen. Which she will remain on indefinitely. Leigh Ann has continued to work and fight through this battle. She is on a high dose of continuous oxygen which requires a large amount of tanks (that only last two hours) which she has to load and pack around whenever she travels. These tanks are heavy and rather difficult for her to handle. Leigh Ann recently discovered that there is a portable oxygen concentrator that will go up to the oxygen setting she requires, however this machine is extremely expensive and her insurance will not cover it.

Leigh Ann is a hard worker who could greatly benefit from this machine with your help.

I'm asking for some support for the "lunch lady" that would give the shirt off her back and the food off her plate for any child.
