Leia’s Medication

Hello everyone! My name is Sarah and this is my cat Leia. Within the past 5 days we noticed some lethargy and within the last 72 hours she began getting extremely bloated. Yesterday evening we took her into the vet and they let us know she likely has FIP. A virus that fatal most of the time for young cats. The vet let us know she is experiencing the beginning stages of this virus where her abdomen is filled with fluid and will begin to spread to her lungs slowly and painfully killing her, there is a treatment that is technically experimental but is effective 95% of the time. Leia and her sister are the most important parts of my life and I can’t imagine going on without them. They get me out of bed in the morning when I don’t want to and give me a reason to keep pushing. I’m currently 18 and a student living with family for school and the cost of the medications full course is much too high for me to afford. I’m desperate and would never turn to here if I wasn’t. Any help is a god send even a couple cents can contribute to a vial that can save her life. Thank you all for reading my story and I hope life treats you all kindly.
