My name is Michelle Hughes, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother-in-law, Leo, who is facing every parent’s worst nightmare.

On October 12, 2025, my 15-year-old niece Lilleia passed away unexpectedly. She was vibrant, funny, and full of light, the kind of soul that made people better just by being near her.

Lilleia’s memorial came at a cost no parent should ever have to face emotionally or financially.

Leo gave everything he had to honor his daughter, but now he’s struggling to recover. The funeral expenses have left him on the brink of losing his home, and he’s trying to hold it all together while grieving the unimaginable.

We’re asking for help to relieve some of that financial burden so he can focus on healing instead of worrying about how to survive the aftermath. Every donation no matter how small, makes a real difference.
