Leia's Health Battle: Your Help Matters

Hey friends,

I really need help with my dog Leia… two weeks ago I brought her in to see the vet because she had stopped eating and was vomiting uncontrollably. They did X-rays and blood tests then sent me home with fluids and meds which cost me $970. Thursday morning she woke up and couldn’t walk up the stairs, was still vomiting, and super lethargic so I took her in to the hospital. She spent 4 days there, got more blood work got sent out to have ultrasounds, was put on more medication all to tell me that the vet suspects stomach cancer. Kyle and I have spent $3,156.70 in total for vet bills, her new prescription food, supplements, and IV fluids for at home to keep her comfortable. We have maxed out our credit card… We are asking for $1500 extra to get a sonogram done with a biopsy to be for certain this is cancer. If she declines before the test is done we will be using the extra $1500 to put her to sleep…. I’m sure most of you will be wondering why we don’t just go that route from the beginning, I think we would if she didn’t have some life left in her. She’s 9 years old, She’s still going on walks and is moving around at home. Point is, we’ve exhausted all of our funds on making sure she is taken care of and the stress of it all is getting to us.
