Leia Needs Surgery (again): Your Help Matters

Hi! My name is Leia and I am an almost 5 year old, spunky Cattle dog/Aussie mix who loves her family, her cat siblings, and being active whenever I can. You may remember that I injured myself 2 years ago and had to have surgery then to fix my left knee. Well, I don't know what I did, but the doctors are pretty confident I have now also torn my right cranial crucient (dogs form of an ACL) and need surgery for it. It's an expensive surgery and requires a lot of aftercare from my favorite humans as well. While they love me very much, they are also preparing to move to a new home (with more space and a bigger yard for me to run!) so this injury came at a time where no one was expecting it. I (Rachel) am starting a new job in just 2 short weeks and Leia's surgery is set for the same week on Wednesday January 22nd. We wanted it to happen as soon as we could so she has plenty of time to recover so we can go on fun trips and let her run like she loves to do. I know many people donated the last time and we were incredibly appreciative of it. I don't usually ask for charity nor do I like asking for this kind of help, but we have a lot on our plates and this injury and needed surgery came at a very unexpected time, as most tend to do.
