If you’ve talked to me at all in the last 16 years, you know Leia is my world. She’s been by my stalwart companion by my side through everything. My first cat and pet. My beacon of joy in life. Coming home to her is the best part of my day everyday. Her attitude is reminiscent of Carrie Fisher plus some.

Recently she’s been limping around and her meow sounded muffled. After a vet visit and x-ray today, it was revealed my sweet girl has a large mass in her stomach. This blockage is causing acid reflux and also affecting her breathing. She requires a surgery for removal.

I am confident she can come out of this surgery stronger and happier than ever. She has a lot of fight remaining. Her quality of life will increase.

This is incredibly difficult for me to ask; but we need financial help for Leia’s surgery. Anyone who is able to help us will never be forgotten.
