Lehua and Ramzes go to Nationals

Last weekend Wendy Sasser's horse, F.J. Ramzes, and I competed at our state and regional championships. We had such a successful weekend that we received a nomination to compete at Nationals in Kentucky.
We had absolutely no intentions of making such a big trip because we had not budgeted for it right now.

I posted about our nomination on FB and the response just astounded Wendy and I. We didn't imagine that so many people were supporting us!!! We have been (not so subtly) nudged to set up this fund and try to go!!!
We have no idea if we will raise enough money but this journey is just so fun that we feel like we must try.
We took a shot in the dark as to cost of the trip. In the event that we earn too much money we plan to donate to hurricane relief funds. If we make it to the nationals and win money we will also donate that to hurricane relief.
This is just such a huge surprise to us and we are so honored that the dressage community supports us.
