Legs for Dexter
Donation protected
HOWDY!!
My name is Ray, and my dog's name is Dexter. Dexter has an intervertebral disc herniation or otherwise known as a slipped disc. This has caused him an immense amount of back pain resulting in the inability to use his two back legs.
As of now, he is currently PARALYZED.
Because of the location, the vet clinics have referred me to the Texas A&M Small Animal Hospital to get surgery for his slipped disc. This is an emergency, and I do not have pet insurance, funds, or resources to pay the price of what they ask. Dexter is not just some dog to me. My friends and family know I call him my kid because he is. I've had him since he was born, and three years later he is still my best friend. It kills me to see the pain and sadness he is in. It hurts knowing he can't go on walks or jump. This surgery can help him regain mobility in his legs. I don't want the fact that I can't pay for the costs to be what stops him from getting better.
An MRI, plus the surgery, medication, and post surgery check ups will amount to over $5000. Any donation is VERY much appreciated! For those who are dog parents, you either understand the pain of losing your furry best friend or being scared of the thought. If you are able, I would like your help in giving my Dexter the care he needs. THANKS IN ADVANCE & God Bless
