Hi, my name is Chin and I’m organising a LEGO TOYS donation charity fundraiser for underprivileged children in Malaysia. The target is to achieve AUD$6,000 of donations. Campaign will close on 8 October 2023.

Each public donated will be matched dollar-to-dollar until I achieve this goal of AUD$6,000.

Why This Cause?

I recently lost my Dad after Covid lockdown in early 2023.

My happiest memory of Dad was playing LEGO toys. My childhood was filled with good memories of LEGO, Birthday Parties and "more LEGO".

Now as an adult and recently re-baptised AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO), I thought it would be befitting to create this GoFundMe campaign as a celebration of Dad's Life and my tribute to my late-father legacy.

Who is the Beneficiary?

The aim is to raise funds sufficient to buy at least 100 LEGO sets to be gifted to 100 children aged 5 to 12 years old. Your funds will be used to cover the cost of buying and distributing these LEGO set to legitimate non-for-profit children orphanage of my family's choice in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. (Updated 6/10: Recipient is now a Primary school children aged 6 to 12 years old, underprivileged at Sekolah Kebangsaan Damansara Jaya. 56 Brand New Lego Set was donated as part of this tribute charity cause.

The actual number of LEGO sets purchase depends on the public donation achieved at campaign closure (7/8 October 2023) less campaign operating expenses, donation stall, marketing etc.

What the Vision?

This campaign kicks off my large personal idea to start-up a social enterprise with the sole mission to share the joy of LEGO toys with underprivileged children and provide LEGO education class-based workshops to help these kids learn creativity, collaboration, teamwork, build self-confidence and story-telling skills.

This is still an IDEA at incubation stage.
