LEGO Island Research Trip

Donation protected
If you were a kid in the late '90s, you may remember a little video game known as LEGO Island. Over the course of the past year, I've been speaking to many (50+) of the individuals who worked on the game in an attempt to document its development history in a publicly accessible form.

While creative director Wes Jenkins tragically passed away in 2017, he left behind a large library of materials related to his work on the LEGO Island and LEGO Media video games in the possession of his wife Kyle.

Kyle has graciously offered me an opportunity to travel to her home for a couple of days in early January and work on digitizing Wes' files related to his work on the LEGO video games series. This likely includes design documents, concept art, and the original scripts.

While no guarantees can be made about what will be found and what (if anything) is suitable for sharing publicly, I would appreciate donations to help cover the costs of transportation (plane tickets) and digitization materials (scanner). Any extra money raised will be going towards future research and to Kyle as a show of appreciation.

Thank you in advance for your support!
