Legions Treatment for Wobblers Syndrome
Donation protected
Legion is a multi-purpose Service k9, he has been in service for six years. He has been diagnosed with wobblers syndrome. He has three cervical spine compressions that are causing him to lose control of his hind legs, hips and lower back mobility. The treatment to correct the compressions would be a spinal surgery; with physical therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic adjustments for the remainder of his life to maintain mobility of his legs and prevent possible paralysis.
Legion is loved by many and is Christina’s whole world. These two have been all over the country together, trained with many amazing folks and helped a lot of people in their industry. We all know dogs are not just dogs, they’re loving souls that we don’t deserve. These two are one and the same and we are very hopeful for a successful surgery and rehabilitation. We are asking for monetary assistance for the cost of surgery and rehabilitation post a successful surgery. Any assistance gathered that exceeds the costs of his immediate needs, will be donated to another k9 in need. We want to pay it forward in our working dog network. We give our deepest thanks in advance as they brave this journey together.
