I was sexually assaulted by a lifelong friend on August 12th, 2020 (HCSO case number: 20-554779). Jack worked to mentally and emotionally abuse and manipulate me in order to create a situation in which he could exert control over me. He began preying on me when he learned about my history of mental illness and past abuse, and used my weaknesses as a weapon against me. 

I have recently learned that he has obtained legal defense to fight me on the charges. I am not able to afford legal representation/counsel/therapy at this time. My rapist knows this, and is attempting to exert control over my life once again. 

I am a mom of three and am seeking financial aid in preparation to legally protect myself from my attacker again. In the case that I do not end up needing legal representation, funds will go towards counseling and therapy for me and my family, as this has all been a very deeply upsetting ordeal. I will also have health concerns to address as a result of this attack.
