Hi, my name is Sarah, and alongside my close friend Maisie, we are asking for your help. In 2022, I was a victim of a crime while in Greece. At the time, we reported it to the tourist police and worked with the embassy, but due to language barriers and a lack of support, we were left feeling overwhelmed and eventually returned home, believing the situation had been dropped. Recently, we were unexpectedly subpoenaed to attend court in Greece to testify in person, and we face legal consequences if we do not attend.

We have now managed to fund our flights and accommodation independently, but we are still struggling to afford legal representation. I am currently unable to work due to ongoing medical issues, which forced me to leave my job and previous home, leaving me in a very difficult financial position without a financial support network. My friend has only just started a new job, and together we simply cannot cover the cost of a lawyer.
