I never imagined I would be in this position, but right now my only priority is protecting my children and making sure they have safety and stability. I am currently going through a divorce and custody process, and I am doing everything I can to give my kids a secure future. This situation has become even more urgent and difficult because my husband has already been charged with a crime involving my daughters.

I have retained an attorney to help us move forward, but the legal fees are more than I can manage alone. I have already paid part of the retainer, but I still owe a significant amount to continue receiving representation. On top of this, I am struggling financially, with credit card debt and limited income, and have been relying on food pantries to provide for my family.
