Everyone has a story to tell. While mine is not unique in its surface its nonetheless impactful.

Having attempted 4 times to escape a domestic violence relationship spanning a decade the impossible was done. I escaped with Faith, high vigilance and determination.

The last time I was creating a planto escape, just one year ago, I was willing to live in my vehicle with my pets. Because one of which suffered high abuse and was used as a coercive control over me.

With the support of my psychiatrist and a coworker that had a rental property available, I began working towards financially hiding funds to accomplish this relocation.

Unfortunately, finances were manipulated and I was unable to escape.

Finally in December 2024 I couldn't find the strength to endure another day.

I planned endlessly. Reaching out to any resources available, VERY carefully reaching out to family or friends that I still had ability to contact ( isolation and coercive tactics created a large divide over the relationship for my support system)

I managed to have my pets cared for in a free pet safe keeping resource, secured a dwelling, prepared a number of people to assist in removing myself and utilized the police service of Emergency Standby.

Once I was out I immediately filled for an Emergency Protection Order.

Even though the courts provide legal aid council for this, the impact of my abuser gaining outside legal council has presented as very difficult and further abuse at the hands of my now ex . As a Highly manipulative and vindictive person they responded with 47 points in retaliation.

Legal manipulation, vexation, provable lies and manipulated digital intelligence to force me to maintain inside the abuse.

Not only is my every waking moment being spent gathering rebuttal evidence, but each and every moment I am forced to relive the abuse over and over again while searching and gathering everything in my power to prove the continuous barrage of surgery on their part.

I am remaining as strong and genuine in my Faith and heart as I can possibly muster.

However, I am being failed by the courts representation.

I have had a preliminary consultation with a family lawyer.

I unfortunately am financially devastated after all I have endured, and am reaching out to those that may provide support.

I am raising for primarily the retainer fees and partial fees of legal representation.

My needs are solely this legal process of gaining back my freedom from the post separation legal and financial abuse.

Anything that surpasses that amount will be placed in donation to the victims services available to men and women in our community.

In addition, once I am not longer fighting this insurmountable battle, I will be creating my own savings to donate to any survivor attempting to escape or regaining their own self betterment.
