Hi, our names are Dynasty and Pablo, and we are asking for help during an incredibly difficult time for our family.

Our sister and Pablo’s children’s mother, Audrey, passed away unexpectedly. Since then, everything has changed for the kids and our family.

After a challenging process, Pablo has now regained custody of his daughter, Cami. For two weeks, he was separated from her before being granted legal custody again. While we are grateful she is now home with her father, the situation is not fully resolved.

Cami’s brother, Isaiah, is currently in the custody of a non-family placement. Our biggest concern right now is making sure these siblings are able to maintain their bond and grow up connected to each other and to their biological family.

Audrey’s children have a strong, loving relationship with their maternal family—their aunts, uncles, and grandparents. We are working to ensure that Isaiah can remain connected to that support system and that both children can grow up with stability, love, and family around them.

We also want to share that both sides of the children’s biological family are supportive of these efforts and are united in wanting what is best for them—keeping them connected, supported, and surrounded by family.

To do this, we need to hire a family law attorney to help us navigate the legal process and pursue guardianship arrangements that will protect the children and keep their bond strong. Unfortunately, the legal costs are more than we can afford on our own.

We are raising funds to cover attorney fees and court costs so we can advocate for what is best for the kids—their relationship with each other and their place within their family.
