My daughter’s dad is taking me back to court to try to take my daughter away from me. This has been an incredibly stressful and emotional time for both of us. I am doing everything I can to keep our lives stable, but the legal process is overwhelming and expensive. I have managed to cover my bill that’s due, but I simply don’t have the money for the retainer my lawyer needs to represent me in court.
