It turns out the call was mostly coming from inside the house! Things came to a head over the weekend with my daughter as I've recently found out the part she's been playing intentionally in how hard things have been for us for so long now.
Yet again, I have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to do about my dependent being the person who's causing me legal issues. She's now being aggressive and violent towards me, so much so that family had to intervene and separate us. I'm not sure when or how she can come back home, but she is getting professional mental health help, and I still need to make sure even if she cannot stay with me, she doesn't go to her abusive father. She needs more help than I can give, but her dad is NOT the answer.
I very much need an attorney ASAP. Court is June 18th. The one I worked with before is willing to help me for a $1500 flat rate.
Honestly, at this point, I'm not sure it's worth it to stay in this home because I'm unsure if my daughter will be coming home at all, but I'm $500 short on rent. I'm going to pay the attorney first, and if I don't get enough for rent too, I'll just take that as a sign.
On the bright side, I'm able to work freely while she and the baby are not home. I'm just sooooooo far behind I can't catch up with these two things before their deadlines on top of all the damage control I have to do. There's also the complication that because of my daughter, the police now have my business phone, and I am not allowed to access my iCloud to contact my clients until further notice.
This is the last time I'm asking for financial help like this. It's shameful, and it sucks, but I need help.
Thank you so much if you've read to this point, and please feel free to ask me anything.
