My boyfriend/ basically my husband who I lived with for nearly 7 years, died on February 16th without a will. We have lived together in a common-law relationship as man and wife for over 6 years. I need to hire a probate lawyer. I cannot afford a probate lawyer. Over the last week I have been able to raise another $1,000 by selling off things from our house, so I wanted to deduct that from the donation requests I am lucky to have a lot of people who love me who have been trying to help and I'm just that much closer and just trying to get to the end of this $5, $10, $20. Anything just gives me that much closer. I appreciate everybody who is added to our fund and I hope you share it with your friends and anybody who knew him like I knew him and his mother. I need to establish proof of being in an intimate, committed relationship. Bryce was paying portions of her rent, which now I cannot continue to do. This lays upon me to get this done, and it sounds like the beginning. If I don't do something, nothing's going to happen, and everything he worked for would be in vain. He wanted to take care of his family; he already took care of me. But without a probate lawyer, I can't do anything. His mother definitely cannot afford to hire an attorney. We were even trying to find a place big enough to move his mother and her husband into because family matters. I just need some help. I can't sell anything of value because it all has to go through probate. If I had any other options, I would have taken them. This is my only other choice. I thank anybody from the bottom of my heart who may choose to assist me. And to add some context to the power rangers costume on July 4th for for one of his best, friend's son's birthday he dressed up as a power ranger to be at the party. It was over 100° that day. That's the kind of guy he was.
